Inter-Foundation School Transfer (IFST)
Inter-Foundation school transfers (IFSTs) into the three London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex foundation schools
These three foundation schools are all popular and have relatively few vacancies. They also cover a large geographical area, for example in STFS the distance from west to east is over 100 miles. Programmes in central London are extremely popular and so seldom become vacant.
IFST applications sent to the UKFPO will be considered by a panel representing NWLFS, NCELFS and STFS on the 5 April and applicants notified on the 7th April that their application has been approved subject to vacancies at the requested school.
The final allocations will be notified on 26th April. Successful applicants are required to accept the offered vacancy as it will not be possible to make changes..
Appeals to the UKFPO will be considered during May. Successful applications will only be considered subject to vacancies in the requested school.
